Hello hello!
I never imagined that I would start a blog, but I hope to use this blog as a way to share stories about my journey through life as a medical student, a bride-to-be and a lover of food! Through my research in wedding planning I discovered that blogs were a wonderful way to share ideas and thoughts and I was inspired (with a little encouragement from my fiance) to start my own blog. Hopefully this will be a place where I can share my experiences in life, love, wedding planning and food!
I am currently a medical student in my third year at West Virginia University Medical School after completing my undergraduate education at The Ohio State University (Go Buckeyes!). For those who are curious, I am not sure what sort of medicine I want to pursue, but I hopefully will find out by the end of this year, haha :-). I am enjoying the rotations that I have experienced in the last several months and I hope to continue to learn and enjoy what I am doing. I became engaged at the end of October to the love of my life, my fiance Shane, and we'll be getting married in June of 2011 (a little over 9 months to go, eek!). We're hoping to plan a beautiful wedding filled with personal touches and wonderful memories with family and friends! So please stay tuned to learn more about our journey in planning the first day of the restb of our lives (and all the craziness that inevitably surrounds it)! :-)
